A Business Analyst is required to join a major broadcaster based in London, to be responsible for systems analysis across their broadcast platform, covering areas such as playout, transmission, studios, post production, HD, newsroom systems, 3D, interactive, video on demand and media asset management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience of broadcast systems analysis and workflows, along with a good knowledge of UML. Any additional ITIL accreditations would also be highly advantageous.

You will be experienced in compression formats, broadcast systems, server and storage technologies, networking and will also possess excellent communication skills. You will provide support across the EMEA region and will be comfortable resolving technical issues (recreating in lab where necessary) for a wide range of customers. This is a predominantly Mon-Fri based role but due to the international nature of the position some evenings, weekends and on-call shifts may be required from time to time.

Any Linux or IP networking experience would be highly beneficial. Based in the UK the role will have international travel to a global customer base so candidates must have a current passport. As Engineering Coordinator you will manage a team of 7 playout engineers to ensure all faults and preventative measures are in place. You will be a skillful engineer experienced in dealing with highly complex SW and HW systems and leading the team when required to resolve tech issues. Must also have strong management skills across: supplier liaison, team coordination and monitoring, delegation, appraisals, reviews etc, must be able to prove strong organisational skills, good communication skills also required for this role. Mon-Fri and core hours normally but must also be willing to cover occasional shifts/holidays if engineers not available. Salary + 15% flexibility allowance + pension + medical + annual bonus. We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our market leading broadcast client. The role will be responsible for designing and developing hardware for state of the art broadcast products, working on the architectural design of products covering firmware and high speed board design. The role will cover the complete product lifecycle.
Candidates must have a strong background as a Hardware Engineer/Design Engineer ideally with at least some exposure to the broadcast or audio/video industries. Strong VHDL firmware design skills are essential targeted at Xilinx or Altera FPGA’s. High speed board design is also essential including block diagrams, schematic capture, pcb design and prototype delivery. Any experience of working with RTOS embedded software control would be advantageous.
